Food Forest tour & Farm Tea

Join us for a tour of the Farm and the Food Forest. We will get the chance to explore the gardens and learn about the many wonders of the food forest.
This is a free event with complimentary tea (bring a mug)
Food Forest Workshop 1:
Soil and land connection!

Come explore and connect in the Food Forest! We will be learning about the forest floor, the plants that grow and the wonders of the soil. As a group, we will be using no-till, mulching techniques that can help you start your very own garden or food forest.
This is a FREE workshop (or by donation)
Tools are provided and there is a task for everyone. All ages welcome.
Wear weather appropriate clothing (layers), sun protection and water bottles.
Food Forest Workshop 3: Water and Ecosystems

Come visit and learn with us in the Food Forest and on the farm where we are starting a new project!
We will be giving a tour of the new Pond, water ways and Food Forest zones that we will be expanding to help irrigate the Food Forest and rebuild a healthy and thriving ecosystem.
Planting Day and Community Climate Chat !
This is a FREE workshop or by donation.
Tools are provided and there is a task for all ages and abilities.
Farm Potluck Picnic

Enjoy a community potluck here on the land!
Bring your own dish or treat to share and enjoy tea from the farm. (please label for allergies)
Please bring your own plates, cups and cutlery. (If you can't bring something that is okay too, everyone welcome).
Picnic style so bring your own blankets and sun protection, water is available.
This is a FREE community event open to everyone.
Food Forest Workshop 2: Planting day

10am-11am
Join us in the Food Forest for planting day!
You will get to know many different plants, trees, birds, and insects in the food forest zones and farm.
We will plant things such as oaks, maples, spruce, nut trees, shrubs, fruit trees and herbs.
Tools will be available and there will be a task for all abilities.
This is a FREE workshop (or by donation)
and open to all ages.
Wear weather appropriate clothing (layers), sun protection and water bottles.
